A motorized boat takes you for the safari in the backwaters of the river Zuari going further in the mangrove-lined Cumbharjua Canal.  The safari takes a total of 3 hours. You are also served a pack breakfast.

Confirmed sighting of Collared Kingfisher is the highlight of the trip.  This subspecies of Collared Kingfisher (H. c. vidalis) is endemic to the Western coast of India.  In addition to this, five other species of Kingfishers are seen here.

You also see Greater Crested Terns, Gull Billed Terns, Peregrine Falcon, Eurasian Curlews, White-bellied Sea Eagle, Black-capped Kingfisher, Terek Sandpiper, Lesser Adjutant and several other species of waders.

There are good chances of sighting a Marsh Crocodile as well.
